A holder of an MBA degree from International college in UK and a holder of a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science from the USA. Mazen is a multitasking professional with over three decades of experience in Airlines & Aviation industry in the Gulf region with global operating exposure. Expertise include Cargo & Passenger, Cargo Systems plus experience in marketing & sales of airline products.


Currently as Regional Manager Cargo, for Africa and Middle East with IATA based in Abu Dhabi Office, Mazen manages operations to roll out IATA Digital and e-Commerce products for Air cargo to be adopted by Airlines, freight forwarders, Customs Authorities, Airports and other related stakeholders associated with global cargo operations. Previously Mazen worked with Etihad Airways, Emirates Airlines, Gulf Air plus other firms. Additionally, Mazen went through multiple assignments in the areas of IT, Passenger Global Distribution Systems (GDS), Airline Reservation Systems, Systems Training, Airline product sales and marketing and Airline Finance. Mazen has excellent experience in conducting overseas market researches and excellent and up-to-date knowledge in IT & e-Commerce.
